“I have wanted a bird feeder for years but we have so many squirrels nearby that my husband refused. He didn’t want to feed the squirrels nor have bird seed piles in the yard. We were cautiously optimistic about the Classic Feeder but thought it was worth a try. The instructions stipulate that the pole and feeder should be placed at least 6 feet from any large object or tree limb in order to not have squirrels jump directly onto the feeder. In order to avoid trees and tall fences around the edge of our property, we placed it basically in the middle of our yard. It has been kind of fun to watch the squirrels try to climb the pole but give up! I am looking forward to trying different types of bird feed to see what types of birds we are able to attract. Grandkids enjoy watching the birds fly back and forth to eat too.”

My backyard is not huge as I live more in City but have several trees and birds seem to flock to my badkyard. “I love the Birds choice classic feeder with squirrel baffle, It is going to make the birds around my house and in the forest behind me so happy and really make the squirrels angry. It has a nice strong2 or 3 section pole that you put together it's 5'8" tall with the bird feeder on it. The bird feeder itself is a real strong polycarbonate plastic. The baffle on it goes around like crazy and will make it the most difficult for a squirrel to get any of the bird food unless you put it near a tree where they can jump from. It is real easy to put the pole into the ground you just need a small piece of wood and a hammer or rubber mallet to hit the wood on the pole so you don't bend the pole any And then put the other section of pull on and then the bird feeder on top of that after filling it up with 1.2 gallons of bird seed It can have sunflower seeds or peanuts in that or a mix and four little feeding places on the feeder, So the birds can eat from any side.”
