“Squirrels don't have a chance against this feeder (although hope springs eternal and they show up everyday nevertheless)! Very well made and easy to use/clean. Interestingly, when we bought one of these online last year, it didn't include a metering ring for some reason, so we're adjusting to that. Also interestingly, our previous one never got fogged up inside even though we live in humid Florida, whereas this new one is fogged up every morning- which doesn't make any sense! But we really like the feeder so we are also getting acquainted with Feeder Fresh to keep the seed dry.”

“This is a very good feeder. The squirrels cannot get to the seed because of the baffle. This is the second one that I’ve purchased but it would be so much better with a little design tweek. When the weather is warm/hot, condensation builds up in the cylinder. Adding some holes at the top of the cylinder for moisture evaporation would make this a perfect feeder. I have to remove the top of the cylinder to let air circulate to prevent the seed from becoming damp and molding.”

“Nice feeder and holds a lot of seed. Prevents most of the seed from getting rained on. Definitely keeps squirrels off as I haven’t even seen one attempt it. The pole is a little wobbly but we’ve had some serious wind in the area lately and it’s still upright, but definitely something to be aware of. If you have large animals (bears, raccoons, etc) they might possibly be able to knock it over.”

“I bought one of these a couple of years ago, and there has never been a squirrel able to get into it. They climb the pole and up into the tube, but they never can get to the seed. You need to place it in the open so they cant jump from trees onto it though. My old one is old and the clear plastic was cracking , so i replaced it with the exact same thing. The squirrels eat the seed that the birds drop, and I feed them peanuts as well. Everything gets to eat in my yard, but this feeder saves the seed for the song birds. I love this birdfeeder.”
