“I bought one of these a couple of years ago, and there has never been a squirrel able to get into it. They climb the pole and up into the tube, but they never can get to the seed. You need to place it in the open so they cant jump from trees onto it though. My old one is old and the clear plastic was cracking , so i replaced it with the exact same thing. The squirrels eat the seed that the birds drop, and I feed them peanuts as well. Everything gets to eat in my yard, but this feeder saves the seed for the song birds. I love this birdfeeder.”
Hi Carl,
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re glad to hear the feeder continues to protect the seed for your songbirds while letting everyone enjoy your yard. It’s great that you came back to the same feeder—it speaks to how much you love it. Happy bird-watching!
Kind Regards,

“This is the second birder feeder I have purchased and I am well pleased with this product. The squirrels have tried to gain access to the bird fee without success. The birds seem to be able to feed easily. It is easy to fill and clean. My first feeder is two years old and holding up well.”
“This is the best birdfeeder I've ever had. The birds love it, it doesn't swing and spread seed all over the place, and most of all the entertainment of squirrels climbing up and pole and back down looking perplexed. They usually do this several times until they finally realize they aren't getting to the seed. Love the large/ easy fill container.”
“We moved from Nevada (ground squirrels) to NJ (lots of real squirrels) in the 1980's. After manky baffles, etc, we found this feeder. We loved it, bought a replacement in 2916 (Texas) and now have a third one. The Texas weather is a little rough but we wouldnt trade this feeder. Also bought one for my son!”
