Squirrel Proof Classic Bird Feeder with Pole and Squirrel Baffle Reviews

4.8 Rating 255 Reviews
If your garden is like mine there are plenty of launching pads squirrels can use to leap onto the bird perch even if the built in hollow baffle is successful. The Xtra 24” makes it almost impossible for them to reach the feeder no matter what. Highly recommend!

Easy to assemble and truly saves the seed for the birds. The squirrels cannot get up the pole to reach the seed.

Too big for my yard. Feeder looks great and sturdy. Had to return it which cost half the price of the feeder itself in shipping. I think the company should pay for the return shipping. Would not by from this company again due to shoving to pay return shipping.

This is the 2nd one of these feeders I have had. They do just what they are supposed to do - they keep the varmints out.

This is the third feeder of this kind I have purchased in 40 years. I cannot give it a high enough rating.

Totally surprised at the SIZE of the actual feeder - it is huge and I won't have to make all those freezing trips in the snow. Very sturdy and well made. Not setting it up just yet since there is plenty of natural food still available in terms of seed pods, berries and other tasty morsels. The real test will come when the squirrels discover it. I have tried every baffle and every sized pole out there to discourage them but they ALWAYS find a way! I have seen them leap over ten feet from a supposedly distant tree branch and land on top of my feeder....started to feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day and violence was truly the next step. Will post another review once I see it in action - hopefully a video of a squirrel scratching his head and deciding to move on to the neighbor's house instead.
