Wire Cage for Bird Feeder 13" Reviews

4.1 Rating 31 Reviews
This works perfectly for keeping the starlings out of the platform feeder. Chickadees and finches can easily get in and out. Even a downy woodpecker managed to get in and out. Worth every penny. Thank you.

Whould have been nice if it included a spring or some other kind of latch to close the bottom , I didn't want it on a pole , I hung it ,so having the bottom secure is the whole point. I have another brand , that came with a nice stainless spring that closes the bottom securely but is very easy to open

I gave 2 stars because the parts were okay and the package arrived. I was very disappointed. The Wire Cage came with no instructions and no clips to connect the pieces together. I certainly won’t be buying from them again. Waste of $50 (cost + shipping)

I like this wire cage, and it is a good addition to our other feeders. Squirrels definitely can’t get in, and neither can starlings. One problem I’ve encountered is that the cage does not hang straight. This is caused by the feeder hanging line not having an anchor on the top center of the cage, resulting in the line being able to move back and forth.

Found something that baffles the starlings, although they unscucessfuly try to get in. Small birds found it immediately.

Was surprised how quickly the small birds started using the suet feeder. The small opening seemed too small to me...not! Zip ties work better for me for the bottom.

This is a ridiculous piece of equipment. I bought it to put a smaller feeder inside of it and it’s totally useless. Whatever they were thinking in the design, they didn’t think about it long enough. I’m not sure these people have ever fed the birds
