“After A LOT of ideas and tricks to keep raccoons out of our trash that failed this has been the life saver. I can tell they have scratched at it but have not gotten in. Easy to put on and tighten. Also like it’s a no brained basically. Our garbage man easily unhooks it before dumps which is a huge plus to not have to run out to undo a contraption. Very awesome product!!!”

Hi Darrell, We're sorry to hear you ran into trouble with the Strong Strap. Bears are definitely the toughest trash can critters out there. Blazer Brand recommends using two (2) Strong Straps on one can when trying to keep black bears out (we do not recommend against brown bears). Two Strong Straps create a "bear-resistant" setup, but they are rarely "bear-proof". Expect someone from our customer service team to email you shortly.
