“Wanted to get an easy to use set of shades for the master bedroom in the new house I just bought. Several windows in other rooms have cellular blinds with very complex rope and pulley systems to raise and lower them. I found a set of these in the closet, but re-installing them was confusing and one of them seemed to be rather messed up. Decided instead to give Blindster cellular shades a try with of the cordless type and don't regret it one bit. “I ordered two blinds for my family room. The order was on time and like others have stated, I had measured outside instead of inside. One call was all it took and they reordered the correct size and charged only $15 for the replacement shade. Couldn't expect more from a company. Thank you.”

“These blinds replaced traditional aluminum blinds that were failing with broken chords. These will last much longer because they're so light. The chordless is a nice touch. Daylight color proved to allow exceptional light through as desired. Install was straight forward. If I were to make this product better I would make the pull downs wider and include a side valence to preveny the blind from moving out of the window and allowing view inside from outside. I would suggest adding 1/8" to the width for maximum coverage and 1/2" for the length. Otherwise, very happy with these blinds.”

“Cons: The directions for installation are somewhat vague with nondescript illustrations. For a DIY installation, I would expect more time and effort would be put into the installation instructions. The regular price is overpriced as it is significantly higher than big box and brick and mortar stores in the area. The only way that the price is competitive is to wait for a 45% off sale which is a regular occurrence, which means Blinster is aware their everyday price is overpriced so that they can mark them down with large "discount sales." I would prefer honest pricing from the start rather than marketing gimmicks. Pros: What I do like about Blindster is the ease of ordering custom blinds. The product is of good quality, ordering is quick and simple, and there is no issue with shipping delays or miscut pieces. Bottomline: The quality of the product is good with a simple and convenient ordering process. Their everyday prices are high but competitive with the 45% off sales which are run regularly. The installation instructions should be improved with better illustrations and more descript instructions as DIY is their niche.”
