“We really didn't know how we would be able to install shades in our sunroom addition. The windows are big sliders and flush with the walls. Any nails or screws would interfere with the mechanics of the window, and the walls above the window were thin, insulated metal--not strong enough to hold the weight of the shade. We'll, the no tools option made it possible to hang large, custom-sized shades that look sleek and professional. Pro tip: depending on your mounting surface, I recommend priming and painting the top section of each bracket to make the unfinished metal blend in with wall. It took a few coats to cover well, but was so much easier than trying to paint them after installation.”

“Ordered these to replace another set of similar shades purchased from another retailer 5 years earlier which all began to fail at the same time (either with the suspension cords snapping or the fabric splitting). These went up in a snap and look great so it'll just come down to how long they last. My spouse did note however he thought the construction seemed more sound than our previous shades.”
