“The pull cord that is used to raise the blinds came apart at the connector which transitions from the two cords that actually raise the blind down to one cord that you pull on. The knot on one of the two cords inside the connector let loose. Also, with just two cords actually raising the blind, the middle of the blind will eventually sag lower than the two ends where the cords are attached. We had also purchased an identically sized (and slightly less expensive) blind in a different color from another Internet blind company. That design uses four cords to raise the blind, so the middle will not sag over time. And the transition from four cords down to the ones you actually pull on was implemented using a much more secure and stronger method. Our remaining blinds were purchased from the competitor.”

I'm sorry you aren't happy with your blinds. You can return them for a refund of the cost of the blinds under our Satisfaction Guarantee. The number of lift cords used on a blind varies based on the size. The number of ladders used on the blind also varies by size but there are usually more ladders than lift cords. The ladders are what provides the support that keeps the blinds from sagging, not the lift cords. Your blind should have been made with 4 ladders and 2 lift cords. The cord joiner is designed to separate when there is stress placed on it. This is a child safety feature that is required by Federal Regulations. I will contact you directly to give you instructions for returning the blinds.

“Wish I did this years ago...This was a very large blind and I previously installed 3 separate bamboo blinds in a master bedroom that looked just ok...in the adjoining sitting room I had white 2" wood blinds. We replaced both windows with the dark wood and it is absolutely stunning! It coordinates beautifully with the bedroom furniture. This was an extremely large (lengthwise) package and there was damage to the headrail during shipping...maybe just need to beef up their packaging. Otherwise gorgeous!”
