Love the blackout. I have this shade on my bedroom sliding door. I ordered it with the continuous cord. It's very loud and hard to pull the shade up. Does not glide smoothly. I hope the cord withstands the use. Other than that, the quality is good.

When I thought I had placed an order, it did not go through. After two weeks of waiting, I went back on the site and had to re-order the same product. I was going to order through my window company who suggested to purchase a similar blind for double the cost. Even though it took some time to receive the product, I am glad I did for the quality and price savings.

I ordered this motorized blind ONE MONTH AGO, and not only haven't received it, I've called Blindster twice and they can't give me any information either. It appears that I have donated $268.00 to Blindster. I'd love to rate this product higher, but if I pay and it never comes, it's a little hard to give it a good rating - and, it's a little hard to consider purchasing anything else from Blindster or even recommending the company. This is a "thumbs down, don't buy."

I had one window that was shining on my big screen TV at certain times of the day. I have a remote for my TV, but had to get up to close the shades. Not any more! and these really block out the light. very cool to walk into a room and touch a button and window opens or closes slight delay with install - instructions not clear on where and how to install motor. google search cleared that up Thanks Blindster!

Bought these for the master bedroom because I need total darkness to sleep. Yes there is a quarter of an inch or so where light gets in because the blinds can't go all the way to the window frame or you would not be able to install them. I am very happy with them. I had some trouble because I ordered so many different types of blinds and shades and I put the wrong hardware up to install these and I ripped the shades trying to hang them. It was totally my fault . I contacted Blindster and they sent me a total new set. The quality is better than anything you'll find at any big box store. And for me, I had to custom order because my windows were custom sized. I'm pleased with all of the different window treatments I ordered and customer service is amazing. Highly recommend. Also after I place my over a $1000 order I emailed them and asked them about color. They contacted me immediately and said they were holding my order and sending me samples of every color available until I was sure which color I wanted.

After an initial delay, the company was super helpful and had our blinds delivered within 48 hours. Very pleased with the top down bottom up effects of these blackout blinds. It gives us many options on the type of light filtration we need.

Ordered two of these cellular shades. They both showed up damaged. There was ZERO packing material - just an over-sized cardboard box. No markings on blinds so who knows who makes these. Despite very accurate measuring there is over 1/2" clearance on the sides... so much for blackout. To top it off we called about our damaged blinds. Customer service rep told us to send in photographs so they can have new shades made. Sent photographs same afternoon and haven't heard a word back! Ordered at blinds . com the same day as blindster. Their blinds showed up almost 5 days sooner and their packaging was almost overkill! Blindster.com ... thanks but not thanks!

I'm sorry you had ship damage on your order. I show that we have refunded the cost of the shades back to you. I will definitely share this information with the factory so that they can do a quality review of the packaging used.

This is our 2nd order from Blindster. We really like our blinds. Super easy to install and they look very good. Had a problem on our 2nd order. On one of the blinds the color of the headrail was very VERY different from the color of the blind and the base. The blinds were Hyacinth but the headrail was a dark purple, blue, grey color, completely different from the color of the blind. I am perplexed why they would put such a vastly different color for the headrail. The headrail color completely clashed with the newly painted room that it was going in to. Blindster will refund the cost of the blind, but shipping is on us. I don't feel particularly good about that given how far off the color of the headrail is. The color disclaimer on the site doesn't speak to that and the color of our other headrails either matched, or was a neutral white.
