“You ordered three of these . The first thing I noticed on two of them was the inconsistent color . We installed them about three months ago and they do look very nice in our living room . Two of the blinds are opened and closed on a regular basis . Ironically, these are the same two blinds which we have had trouble with . First problem, the blinds won't stay open on their own . I had to tie off the control cords to keep them open . Secondly, on three different occasions the control strings broke , or came loose from their attachment . Had to take the blinds down reroute the strings and reattach them . Third, again, problems with the control cords . The plastic pieces on the control cords where they come together and are contained within a 1 1/2 inch decorative piece of plastic . Each and every one of these plastic pieces have come apart and I had to either glue or tape them to keep the two halves from continuously separating . Needless to say , I am very disappointed what I paid for these blinds and the poor quality . Fortunately, I have been able to repair each problem on my own and not go through the hassle of returning them through warranty . As far as the discoloration , we were able to touch that up with some markers we bought . Be very careful when buying these blinds . If they are in the room where they need to go up and down every day . I would expect the same problems I have had . When I look at how they are put together , I can see why they are falling apart”

“I thought that the blinds were easy to install and provided us with the privacy we needed. We didn't pick the sun block backing because we have plants that need sun. Seem to work very well in our kitchen. We ordered the pair of blinds to fit our sliding glass doorway and they fit perfectly.”

“We like these bamboo shades. Customer service was excellent. The shades were processed and manufactured promptly and arrived sooner than expected. It would be great if the install instructions included a video. We googled a youtube instructional video for a similar shade which made it a lot clearer for the install. Aligning the middle hole in the valance was difficult. It would be a simpler install if the screw holes were slots instead of small holes for more of an error margin in placement. The larger shades do bow (sag) slightly in the middle. The difficulties with install and the sagging problem are the reasons for the 4 stars and not 5. Thank you, Linda P.”

“I love these blinds. They are super easy to install, beautiful quality with a very fair price. Just takes a few minutes to install no matter how long or wide the blinds are. My only complaint was I needed to order 2 more and they discontinued my color. It didn't really matter in the end because I was thinking originally that I would darken the space at the end of this very sunny 3 season room, so our outside refrigerator wouldn't have to work so hard to stay cold. So I guess that was a good idea in the end. Just a thought... you need to plan ahead so your color is not discontinues by the end of the season.”
