“I have ordered from Blindster.com on three separate occasions. My first experience was a 2" wood blind. The classic look of this blind completed the room. I ordered identical blinds for my bedroom, Once again, the 2" wood blinds are a classic. I ordered Bamboo for my walk out basement, thinking what a perfect choice for an in-finished hobby room. They let just the right amount of light in, yet private from the outside. This weekend I am going to order the bamboo blinds for my garage. I am going to do Kitchen is next, I am exploring Roman Shade colors right now. Blindster sends free sample colors, so there is no surprises.”

“I ordered 3 bamboo shades in the Nova Ponte color for my sitting/living room and they are just beautiful. Everyone keeps asking me where I got them. I have an older home with many different colors of wood throughout and this color pulls both the lights and darks right out of the room! The fit was perfect and the installation was simple and fast. It also helps that installation instructions are very easy to find on the website if you need any help. I will 100% be buying more from Blinster and I recommend you do as well.”

“Pleased with quality of material, build, and fit. Installation took longer than expected. Installation required removing the roller bar in order to secure head rail with screws for an inside mount application. This increased the installation time. Also found that installation with larger shades requires 2 people. Installation could be be made much easier and less time consuming if some sort of head rail mounting cap were included. e.g., simply screw in a fitted mounting cap, then simply snap the shade assembly into place. This would greatly reduce installation time, and would allow for a one person installation.”

“The only problem was that we could not install them inside the window and I requested they be remade for an outside mount. When I spoke with the consultant, I asked if the wood header would be covered with the bamboo on the side so that the wood header would not show from the side. She assured me would. It was not. The shade is installed, and from the side where the wood shows, looks unattractive. Is there some way to send me a small piece of bamboo that I could glue or staple to conceal this exposed wood?”

I'm sorry you didn't get all of the parts for your shades. It does come with returns (side pieces that cover the exposed wood). I will get them sent out to you right away.
