“I love the look of our new blinds. I looked on several other websites before purchasing and found many wouldn't do a blackout with this type of shade. I don't know why, they are beautiful from the inside and outside of our home! My husband said they were fairly easy to install. However, one blind hung oddly, it doesn't hang parallel to the window, thus allowing sunlight into our floors in a small gap. Hopefully it won't fade that area of flooring....that is why we got blackouts (southern exposure.) They are a little hard to lift....we purchased the continuous loop.”

“We have a corner next to the TV viewing area that needs a good looking shade, with almost complete darkening..this combination worked for us: Bamboo shades with darkening. They are beautiful and glad we added the edge seal for longevity (no open ended bamboo to rub on the opening). My only complaint is that the center hole drilled for mounting was too close to the center pulley and I had to move (re drill) the hole to allow the wingnut to fully rotate.”

“This is the second time I've used Blindster. The first experience was so positive I didn't hesitate to use them again. I ordered samples and had a bit of a snag in that not all of them came, but a call to the company fixed it all and they sent them fedex instead of regular mail. The quality of the bamboo shades is as I expected and they do look good. The installation was more of a headache than it needed to be. The instructions were not all that helpful. On several of the inside mount shades the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place, unless you wanted to hang your shade inside out. We had to drill new holes in the header to install but luckily we had the necessary tools to do it. Blindster does give you good value but definitely use the coupon discount codes widely available.”
