Nice shade however all the pics show their inside mount rollers shades material is flush with the window edge. This is NOT the case. There will be a 1.5 inch gap between the material and the window. The instructions do mention this, but the pictures don't show this.

I'm sorry you weren't happy with your roller shades. All window coverings that are mounted inside the window should be ordered using the actual window opening width (for roller shades use only the width at the top of the window). The top of a roller (outside bracket to outside bracket) is the widest point of the shade and is made just slightly smaller (1/4 inch deduction for this product but it varies by factory). The fabric will actually be made 1 to 1 1/4 inch (1 1/4 inch for the Deluxe products) less than the ordered width. This deduction is necessary because the operating components must fit onto the end of the tube. In addition, the fabric can't be wider than the tube or the mechanisms will damage the fabric. So, with an inside mount roller shade the gaps are absolutely essential. You can mount outside the window to cover the window opening completely.

the return (end cap) on one side came broken so I had to repair it. A packing problem?

I'm sorry you weren't happy with your fabric shades. We really encourage everyone to get samples of the fabric before ordering. I hope you will give us a chance with another product.

The roller shades are very nice and do a good job blocking the light. My biggest regret is not knowing that the white backing looks bad against the dark gray color of the front of the blind. I should have ordered reverse roll so the gray was the only color you see.

I have bought several different shades from Blindster, most were very good quality and easy to install, but the roller shades I ordered don't even roll up or down. I've tried all the adjustment suggestions and it still doesn't work, I have to manually remove the roller curtain and roll it in my hands until I've reached the top. Now I have installed one in a bedroom and ordered cell shades for the other rooms since these are not very impressive. I still have a new one in the box if anyone wants it.

We ordered Fabric Blinds received some kind of paper composite, When we called customer care The lady remarked upon us telling her they were not fabric " You can't tear them. Can you? We spent over $700 for cheap cardboard and paper. We returned our blinds as instructed by mail. This cost us over $100. We feel we should have our money returned as well as the postage. We have not at this time received a reply to our e-mail over this issue. We will see if Blindster is honest and has any integrity.
