“Just installed my new shades, they are beautiful and I only wish they were about a quarter of an inch wider on each side. The roller is perfect size but the shades themselves could have been a full 1.2 inch wider and therefore would have hidden the window casing more fully. Otherwise, beautiful.”

I'm sorry you aren't totally happy with your shades. Unfortunately, roller shades require that the mechanisms that allow it to roll up and down must be on the outside of the tube at the top of the window. The fabric cannot be wider than the metal tube at the top. Therefore, the fabric must be made 1" to 1 1/2" less than the width ordered. That way, the top of the shade will fit inside the window properly.

“The blind was a Christmas gift for my son and it's nice, but it was not straight on the roller. The bottom right side was longer so it went down hill and did not appear to be sewn well on that end. We checked the window to make sure it was square and then measured the blind to determine if it was the same length all the way across and it was not.”

I'm sorry that there was a problem with your roller shades. The fabric not lowering straight can be caused by a number of issues. The fabric may not be straight on the roller or the roller tube may not be hung level. You can check the level by using a level devise along the tube at the top. If the tube is not level, you can adjust the installation to make it level. If the tube is level, there are ways to adjust the fabric (without taking it off the roller).
