“This was our first time to order from Blindster and did due to pricing favorability compared to our normal blind source. We also ordered the blind with the No Drill spring loaded tension installation kit since this was for a fully tiled window wrap. Wow, what a great feature and was perfect for the space. The cordless lock lift mechanism operates perfectly. We are very please with our purchase and the ability to order fabric samples first in order to make a color decision was very helpful.”

“I ordered 3 identical sets of shades for 3 bedrooms. The first one in had an issue. So I went & knocked out the next two. I came back to the 1st install and realized my 65 year old house had bowed window trim and was able to adjust.”

“The shade quality is excellent. However here are some tips to help in ordering your shades. I have the top down-bottom up version. During the day, they will filter the daylight with seemingly perfect balance. The windows with or without curtains will look upgraded. Nothing filters inside except for natural light. Lights up a room with limited need to actually turn on the lights you may have in the room. However at night anything in front of that same window on the inside of your room will shadow outside the window. Individuals outside can see the shadows as well as if the lights or TV is on in the room. I would recommend blackout curtains behind the shades if you are concerned about your privacy. The curtains will block the light filtering completely during the day or night. The shades do help with filtering noise as well and look great in the windows inside and out. I have the white shades (easier to match with any decor) but the have colors to choose from. I think darker colors may help some with shadowing at night. If this is a concern for you I would go with the black-out shades or pair the light filtering shade with curtains to block the shadowing. I paired my with black-out curtains to have the best of both worlds (filtered light and night time privacy). I have photos of indoor day and outdoor night for you to view here. I'm pleased with my purchase and the shades made an instant upgrade to my guest room window treatments.”
