I'm sorry you aren't completely happy with your shades. When we use the term "blackout" that means that the light will not penetrate the fabric used. With most window coverings that means that there will be light that filters around the shade on the edges. With the flat sheer shades, light will not penetrate the solid pieces of fabric. However, they will obviously penetrate the sheer mesh. Also, there will be radiant light that will show through the gaps between the stripes of fabric. “I did not know what to expect regarding these shades. BUT they were perfect for two bedrooms. They give the darkness when needed. But they can also let light in the room. Installation was easy and they looked perfect set into the window.”

“I like all the colors I chose. I only wish the color chosen for Master bedroom blocked more light. The lighter colored shade chosen for office gives the light I desired but one of the flat shade pieces has a run in it. It goes all the way across. We didn't notice it until it was installed and we were using the chain to raise the shade. Over all I like the look and won't be adding drapes.”

“thought the delivery was slow but the blinds are as good as ones we purchased from a local provider.....only 1/3 less expensive. Great product and incredibly easy to install. My wife had her doubts at first but she is sold now.”
