“This is my 4th purchase from Blindster. This purchase was 3 shades for a sliding glass door and one shade to cover an adjacent window. I love the look of the shades and it definitely kept my home cooler during the recent hot spell. The installation was different from the previous shades I purchased, so it took longer to figure out how to install them.”

“I have put these up and down everyday and haven't had an issue. My windows are large. 6' W x 8' L, I have owned them for 8 months now. My home faces north and get full sun all day. In the same room I have large windows that face South. During the winter the sun is lower and it comes directly in my house and so will the sun through the little holes but when the sun is at a slight angle to the wholes it filters. 3% works great unless the sun is directly perpendicular to the shade. If you are debating between 5% and 3%, I have both and there isn't really a difference with clarity when looking out. I have purchased these in chocolate and white. Both you can see out of almost the same. I went for chocolate first because I did not know if you could see out of the white. Only when the sun is directly on them are they harder to see out of but white and chocolate are pretty close. The chocolate will darken the room the white keeps it bright. The chocolate will hold a lot of heat. Good in the winter bad in the summer. If I were to do it again I would probably go white so the room doesn't darken. But chocolate is a clearer more natural view outside then the white. As you look at shades from a side view you can't see out as you are at a 45 degree angle you can see out better. When standing at 90 degree angle it is clear viewing all the way to 180 degree view of looking directly out of them.”
