“The shades have served our purpose of limiting sunlight and the related heat very well. Two shades created a strange visual interaction with the window screens- it looks like we are looking through water and is quite disturbing. No problem with screen out.”

“We ordered these for our bedroom and bathroom. We can definitely see through them - looking out during the day, but also looking in at night. These are not a good choice for private areas.”

“I have this installed on the window of a west facing room, which is my home office. It has always been the hottest room in the house. Now I can work in there when it's over 100 degrees outside and be very comfortable. I added just a plain valance at the top, for a really clean look.”

“I installed 1% solar shades in my Florida home which worked well in blocking the heat from the sun. These were purchased from blinds.com. I purchased 1% solar shades from blindster.com for my Connecticut home. They are not much better than a regular shade. They do not stop heat from the sun. I do not recommend buying this product from blindster.”

I'm sorry that you are having problems with your solar shades. We believe that you may have gotten shades made in the wrong fabric. I show that we sent you samples by mail so that you compare the correct fabric to the shades that you received. We will certainly correct this issue. I will contact you direct so that I can get the information we need to go forward.
