“I'm a general contractor and I purchased these shades to go over to glass French doors from the master bedroom into the bathroom to allow for some privacy when one homeowner was using the facilities the install went as planned however the shade quality is so poor that they curl up at the edges don't cover the windows all the hardware is expose and there's nothing to hide the fasteners”

I'm sorry you are not happy with your shades. I will need more information to determine all the solutions. However, the fabric should not curl on the edges. The hardware does not come with a cover unless you order the cassette valance. Some of the premium roller shades will come with a snap-on cover for outside mount hardware. Roller shades are ordered by the widest width which is at the top from bracket to bracket. The fabric width will be 7/8 inches to 1 1/2 inches less than the ordered width. This may be why the shades do not cover the actual window opening. I will contact you by telephone to see if we can resolve your problems.

“Flimsy, and I'm afraid we'll tear this shade when pulled down too often. Pull down bar is just a piece of wood heat sealed in a pocket - nothing very substantial to grab. We'll be returning it.”

I'm sorry you think that the shade is flimsy. We have been selling these shades for years with no problems. The fabric is much more substantial than it may appear and the hembar is specifically designed to withhold the pressure. In addition, all of our products are covered by our limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Of course, you can return the shade under our Satisfaction Guarantee for a full refund.

“The product was nice quality and color and fairly easy to install... window opening narrowed as it went away from window itself so should have measured average not widest point. Other than that they look great and work great.”
