“Ordering was quick, simple and painless, the order arrived in a timely fashion and was complete and undamaged. It was easy to install the blinds and they were excellent quality. We chose faux wood because of the humidity in Florida and you wouldn't know they aren't wood. They are heavy but not too heavy and excellent quality. They are beautiful and provide privacy. I am happy with this purchase and the value with the Columbus Day discount couldn't be beat! Blindster saved me over $500 vs. their competitor. Will never order from the other guys again!”

“So far, so good. I am satisfied with the quality and appearance of the faux wood vanes; but, the mechanism strikes me as "light-duty" compared to the 28-year-old Levalor blinds I replaced. (Only time will tell if my concerns over potential durability issues is warranted.) Also, I am less than enthused with the provided "cleats" that are designed to avert the possibility of strangulation (from the cords) among small children. Not that the cleats will fail in their mission, but they are highly unsightly and are designed to be fastened to the wall. I'm not a fan! I was also disappointed in the quality of one of the shipping containers. While attempting to lift the heavier of two containers from my porch (where it had been left by the FedEx employee), a large section of vanes slipped through a hole in one end of container. The hole was probably caused by shifting during the shipping process. Luckily the vanes came to rest in a mulched landscaping bed instead of on my concrete walkway, which would surely have resulted in damage to the vanes. Lastly, and on a more positive note, my shipment was shorted by one vane (not a big deal..."stuff happens"), and when I brought the matter to the attention of Blindster's customer service department, the representative responded very quickly and professionally.”
