“We spread out a project to replace all of the major blinds in a home upgrade project. Every order was received on a timely basis, and every blind was perfect. This included two big vertical blinds. Overall, a good experience.”

“both were defective ! The rod would not rotate so the blinds could not open. Got a replacement one for one, but not the other, did not ask for it. Need some quality control work”

“Blinds are plastic you can get these at any Home Depot or Lowes for 50.00 Faux Wood Verticle Blinds were plastic and cheap!!! Would not order again. Not satisfied with the plastic blinds. They should advertise that they are plastic not faux wood.”

I'm so sorry you weren't happy with your vertical blinds. You can return these blinds for a full refund under our satisfaction. I will contact you directly to see how you want to get this resolved. You are correct that all window coverings labeled as Fauxwood are made from PVC or a PVC blend. However, there is quite a bit of difference in our verticals and the ones you can typically get off the shelf at Home Depot or Lowes. Our blinds are custom-made to your specifications with custom sizes, controls and control positions. In addition, our blinds include a valance and a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. Also, the gauge (thickness) of the slats usually varies quite significantly.

“The blinds are nice. The problem is that you sent the blinds the exact length I measured which was the exact size of the windows. The were to hang outside the window.s My husband had to use a hacksaw to cut off the bottom of the bracket so they would not stick out and in order to get the blinds to one inch above the floor. I don't understand why you did not give us a couple of extra inches on the length for sure an and a little on the width. We had the problem with both the window and sliding glass door. I also e-mailed you asking a question about getting the blinds to open and close. We finally did get it figured out but I never receive an answer from you. Also, I had heard you advertising on the Rush Limbaugh Show. It said to use his name Rush when ordering to get a discount. When I typed it in it would not except it. Maybe I got it confused with another blinds company. The blind do look nice and they slide easily.”

I'm sorry you had a problem. For outside mount we make the blinds to the exact width and height ordered. Our measuring instructions give suggestions for adding width and height. We generally recommend adding 2 to 3 inches to both the width and height of the window opening (or the frame to frame measurement depending where you are going to mount the blinds). However, we can't automatically add anything because we don't know what you may have around your window that may cause problems. I will contact you so that we can get you a new blind under our Fit or Free Policy.
