“Received Wed. and scheduled paid installer for today. Fabric would have been nice if it weren't so wrinkled out of the box, particularly on left side of both shades. Hope hanging smooths them out. Fit is perfect and install was very simple for pro. Bought top down/bottom up option. String in middle of shade looks hideous and ruins the look of the shade. Not mentioned at all in the description which I find deceiving. Looking over pictures super carefully now it is barely detectable. Not noticeable if you aren't looking for it. Definitely not worth $52.00 per shade as an option! After waiting and paying installer's visit I'm keeping them but they will definitely be replaced by shades from another company sooner than later. Look elsewhere if you want top down/bottom up. Now I understand someone's comment about the frame. It looks OK and holds well but shades have to be totally unscrewed for painting, added cost if you aren't handy. Definitely not what I expected.”

I'm sorry you are so unhappy with your shades. Unfortunately, there is not way to prevent wrinkles when shipping a fabric product. The factory uses the best packaging available to minimize wrinkles. However, most roman shades will need to be steamed or you can use a product called "Wrinkle Release" that will remove the wrinkles (spray fabric product). The number of strings on the shades varies by the width and height of the shade. They use the minimum number of strings that will still provide the support needed when raising and lowering the shades. All Top Down/Bottom Up products will have visible strings when the top is lowered. You can return the shades under our Satisfaction Guarantee. I will contact you to see what you would like to do.
