“This was my experience which is one out of many. I was a Quality Manager for many years and can be anal-retentive. Got my embossed Vertical blinds for our house in 2 boxes. One of the boxes was very heavy. My wife would not have been able to move it. The FedEx guy struggles just as I did. The rails or tracks for my vertical blinds was fine but I felt the cord and beaded control lines had a cheap plastic guild which screwed into the wall. Not sure how that will hold up over time. Also not sure if I should have it pulled down so the lines are loose or tight fitting as friction my cut into the plastic. Instructions say move smoothly so I guess thats loose? On some windows it seems that the coverage area where the PVC slates hang to cover the window were short of full coverage. On some of my windows there was 3/4 of an inch which allows light in. All of my PVC slates required trimming from a 1/4 to 1/2 " to get the proper length. I was a little surprised by this but cutting them was not to difficult, just time consuming. The Valence is designed so that you need to screw it into the window frame under the clip which then holds it in place. The is fine except that the Valence length then fits inside the window opening for inside mounts. Small clips are then added to both ends of the Valence. This created some frustration for me as the valence was right on the edge of the window opening and sometimes inside the opening. Seems that a better design would be called for here but that would require the manufacture additional work to make a better fit. As they get paid for their work the cost would be higher. I though about returning my order but didn't discover some of the issues until half the work was already done. So I made do. I doubt the rest of the industry is any different from what I can see. Blindster appears to be use someone else to make their stuff if you have any issues shipping time are increased as orders need to be place. All and all I thing my experience would be the same with whoever I used so shop for price. Quality is equal across them all I would guess.”

“Customer service is outstanding. I called and walked through the measurements with the agent, made some modifications based on our dialogue and placed my order on Friday 4/22. I received my blinds the following Friday (pretty amazing). I finished hanging them on Saturday and they fit like a glove. Awesome!!”

My wife liked them, and wanted an identical set installed into her workroom. So we've just finished installing a set of vertical blinds in her room, and they are also just great.
