“Everything OK except trolley which was an inch too short resulting in a light gap. I fixed the gap with dummy blind but Blindster didn't tell me they were going to undercut the trolley to assure fit to an recessed window. The quality is excellent for the money. The tensioners were useless; I had to cut one off completely with a motor tool and tape the other one so it wouldn't lock. This was probably done on purpose to reduce product liability because the enclosed flyer made a bid deal about child choking safety. While this is understandable, it still resulted in useless tensioners; there must be a better way.”

I'm sorry you had a problem with your order. We recommend that you use the window opening width (smallest of the width measurements at the top, middle & bottom of the window) when ordering inside mount blinds. All factories that make window coverings for us (and all factories that I am aware of in the United States) take a width deduction when making blinds/shades to be mounted inside the window. For Vertical blinds the normal deduction on the headrail is 1/2 inch. The Federal Regulations for Child Safety require that the cord tensioners prevent the cords from moving through the tension devise unless they are installed properly. If the tension devise was properly installed and still did not work properly we can send you new ones. I will contact you directly to see what we can do to get this fixed.
