“I installed my patches into my hiking boots a few nights before a 15km hike, I wasn't super happy with the install of one boot, but the other was ideal. I wore the boots for a few hours after the install to make sure they attached to the boot lining. After the hike both of my heels still blistered slightly, the patches peeled off half way from the top down in both boots. They were crumpled and unusable after this so I removed them. I like the concept of these patches, it makes sense using PTFE in high friction areas. Unfortunately they didn't work for me.”

Thanks for your feedback, Mitchell. I'm sorry to hear it didn't go well. How about we set you up with a new set of patches so you can try again. I think we might try the Rectangle patches this time which are bigger and more suited to boots. I'll be in touch by email to go through some ways we can make sure the patches stick and stay stuck.

“This works for me.The only issue is adhesion.As a very frequent walker/hiker with Haglund Deformity blisters are my biggest enemy.Finding the best footwear still normally requires blister prevention.This is a winner but better adhesion would create perfection”

“I’ve been using these patches for more than 5 years with amazing success. I’m so thankful I found them. The first shoes I used them on are still wearable but are looking quite worn. They are used for tromping around the yard and fields. The second pair are still in very good shape also . They protect my shoe from wear and tear of putting them off and on daily. Definitely extends the life of my shoe as well as preventing rubbing in the heel area.. I bought new shoes for the gym and for walking and plan to apply patches before they rub my heel or the shoes. I hope you experience the same success !”
