I chose a lab created diamond because it allowed me to get a nicer stone for my love, and I knew she would appreciate it being 100% conflict free. The 360 video was great to show friends and family before buying it to get their approval. The entire purchasing process was so smooth and easy and left me feeling way more in control and satisfied than choosing a pre-made ring in a store. It was also way more inexpensive than making a custom one at a big name jewelry retailer. I will forever recommend brilliant earth to those in my life looking for a ring!!”

I'll give credit where credit is due: my fiance continually saw ads not just for Brilliant Earth, but for this setting, and she just knew this was the ring she wanted. She continually gets compliments not just on the diamond (which has impressed even the people that we expected would be the most critical of it (my future mother-in-law)) but on the setting too. “The ring is beautiful, but it's not flawless as you would expect when paying 2,000 dollars for a ring. Through the process of buying the ring and picking a diamond, I was contacted by this company and told the diamond I picked online wasn't actually available (This is information I should know before I pay for a ring). They found me a diamond close to what I first picked which was nice. My next issue was the ring itself. Upon opening the box today, excited to see the ring I will be giving my girlfriend, I noticed that the setting is at a tilt so the ring doesn't sit completely straight up. From the top view and the side views you can see the diamond is a bit slanted because the setting was not done right which is a bummer. Like I said, the ring is absolutely gorgeous, but the diamond is not centered properly. I'm also not a perfectionist by any means. My family and I all saw the diamond wasn't centered properly, as well as a jeweler I took the ring to, but somehow the Brilliant Earth folks missed this. So, I may be just a bad experience. I know this is a good company with great rings, I just wish the ring I bought would have been looked at a little more thoroughly before sending it out.”
