Received my unit a couple of days ago. I bought 1 each for the ipad pro 11 and 12.9. It is very disappointing because the edges are so sharp that is can actually cut you, and the feel of the keyboard is flimsy. Its a lot heavier. Certainly cannot beat the Zagg keyboard. I hope we have not been made guinea pigs since we pre ordered. It certainly doesn't worth the amount of money spent on it as its painful to use this keyboard.

I received mine about a week ago, early impressions to be sure but so far I couldn’t be happier. Placing the iPad into the Brydge feels very nice and secure. The hinge is sturdy and doesn’t seem to want to tip over when you tap on the screen. I of course have not had it long enough to say how they will hold up over time but they feel great when adjusting or installing the iPad. The best way to describe the keyboard feel is to say it is close to the pre butterfly keyboards from Apple. It feels really good to type on, very reminiscent of the old MacBook Air I used before moving to the iPad Pro full time in late 2015. The battery has been good so far, to early to say how long it will last. I keep the backlighting at a lower setting and it seems to last a very long time. A hat tip to whoever at Brydge worked on color matching the aluminum because it looks identical to the Space Grey iPad Pro. In future version I hope they find a way to use the Smart Connector, and with iOS 13 add a trackpad. But right now this is simply the best Keyboard Case you can buy for your iPad Pro.

I ordered the Brydge Pro case for my 2018 11” iPad Pro. It came and the design and functionality was totally not what I wanted or expected. I returned it the next day once the Brydge support company representative said I could. I not only had to pay a $21.00 return shipping but I am going to have to pay a restocking fee. This is totally unacceptable to me. If anyone wants this product, be 100% sure it is what you want. I only took it out of he box and once I saw how the case/keyboard worked I knew it was not for me. I find this type of customer relations unacceptable. Yes, had I read the fine print on returns first I probably would not have ordered it. I however thought based on the web site it was going to be perfect so I did not. This is the first time I have ever had an issue with a return so, BEWARE!

I have been using the Brydge keyboard non-stop as my day-to-day machine and I must say I'm quite happy with it. I'm at my speediest pace while typing and the connectivity is a stellar. What I noticed however is that this model, because of the thinner bezels of the ipad pro, the rubber shims at the hinges tend to scrunch up (on my case, it has begun to deteriorate, unfortunately). Especially if you're like me that you tend to shift "modes" multiple times in the day, I wish they would've made it easier to transition to and from tablet to "laptop" and vice versa. Also, I love the magnetic "guard" back plate (?) but it would be more amazing if I didn't need to remove it if I wanted to switch to tablet mode. Additionally, I'm quite anal with my ipad's protection, and as I go throughout my day bouncing from one place to the next, it is sometimes worrisome that when I bring it out from my bag, any sort of obstruction may potentially nick/damage the sides of the ipad. A bumper solution -- something that even offers protection on three sides will be a welcome addition perhaps? All in all, I'm looking forward to using this on the long-term, and I'm excited to see how the Brydge team approaches the iPad pro for future iterations (especially if mouse support comes along). My small gripes aside, this accessory may as well be the definitive keyboard solution. A resounding 4 out of 5 stars.

Ordered this back in January and was very excited to receive it. I love how it types, but found myself disappointed by how poorly my iPad sat in the two rubber grips. My iPad constantly popped out on one side if even only the slightest force was applied in outward direction. It got to the point where even tilting it open mad the iPad come out of the grips. In addition, the grips on the hinges themselves would come slightly offshore they were supposed to rest, making me take the time to fix them. If you buy this keyboard, you will love how it types, but may be disappointed by how it does not hold the iPad securely. Not sure why such an insecure method was chosen when there are plenty of other options for hinges that would allow for 180 degree motion.

The clips that the iPad slips into are too tight, which causes a glow in the corners where they are attached because so much pressure against the screen. This can’t be good for your iPad. Extremely heavy, but feels like it’s made of quality materials.

The idea of this is really great. But it's SUPER HEAVY. In addition, it's very difficult to switch from laptop position to the drawing position. The foam padding on the hinges is very very flimsy. I pulled my ipad out and it tore the hinged foam SCRATCHING my ipad. No thanks, I'm getting a refund. Please do not buy with out first seeing this in real life. HORRIBLE.

I'm very happy so far, with a few caveats. I can't get used to the fact there is no touchpad. This is so much like a laptop! Hopefully with mouse support will come a version with a touchpad. Not something they can control, hopefully a new version will come with iOS 13 and mouse support. The only other thing is, as an avid pen user, it's unwieldy to keep trying to pull out the tablet to draw and write on. This is super disappointing to me since I use it so much. I thought I'd get used to it but so far, I'm struggling. It's definitely easier to work with on the smaller tablet. Other than that, the keyboard is awesome, sturdy and feels great. It is definitely the best tablet keyboard I have ever used.
