“This to me was a failed attempt. I have an ipad Pro and bough both keyboards. I was one of the first to pre-order for this keyboard the pro max+ and it failed in many areas and I recommend the first version with the grip hinge. First of all when putting the ipad pro in it seems like a great concept just using magnets but for some odd reason it always seems to be top heavy and allows the keyboard to topple backwards. Twice my ipad broke away from the keyboard. Secondly because the touchpad is so tremendously huge when you are typing it is very easy for your thumpad area other palm to rub and the next thing you know your mouse has moved or it receives it as a click response. Although the other ipad keyboard has the gripping jaws and it is harder to remove the ipad for writing handwriting mode believe me its worth the sacrifice for piece of mind on the other issues. Finally, I have had the pro max+ keyboard as I said from the very beginning and already it seems the hinge is starting to weaken and in find the ipad flooring either open or close whereas the other version stays at the angle set. This was a nice attempt but needs some major improvements. Believe me from someone who purchased both versions for a comparison”

“Let me start with the positives. The ordering process and quick arrival was great. Setting up and the use of the keyboard is very easy. My concern is this is the second keyboard that I have received because the keyboard starts cracking at the base where it suppose to stand up alone. I think the IPad is too heavy for the keyboard, I have brought another Brydge keyboard for one of my older iPads and I have had no problem. However with this one, this is second one with the same problem.”

“Firstly, the build and design of the device is great. It is sturdy, albeit quite heavy, and I don't feel nervous having my ipad in it while at a desk or in my bag. They keyboard keys travel nicely and the trackpad is great, although quite clunky in sound unless you choose the tap to click function. Where I am experiencing some issues is the connectivity. My bluetooth connection seems to get choppy or flat out disconnect quite often leaving the only option to make it work again be a full reboot. When I say full reboot, I also include forgetting the device and then going through the whole connection as though it's the first time using it. I have only used the keyboard for a short time so I'm not 100% sure if it's due to the environment or if it's in fact a device issue so I will keep an eye on it and reach out to customer support should the issue persist. I hesitate to recommend it at this point, at least until I've worked where the true issues are.”

“At times the track pad stops working. I need to shut down and re start and all is fine.. it only happened twice. It happens to be a great unit.”

“I am now on my second keyboard and noticed today that the plastic surrounding the hinges is broke, again. I like the larger track pad and the keys are nice to type on. But for the price you are paying for a keyboard it should not break so easily.”

“Great build quality! Just a couple things don’t line up in the hinges but I’m probably being WAY too picky. The ONLY complaint is the gestures on the trackpad. They often don’t work correctly on the first try and the tap to click can be a bit spotty. For the price and the build quality, though… top notch. Wish I could own it in every color.”
