Very nice keyboard. Durable. Superb keys. Heavier than I expected but that’s OK. Very sensitive touch pad. Too sensitive. Not sure why there is a back panel. Keeps falling off. Insulation? Padding? Not sure.

Great service from the start. The keyboard is as advertised.

I bought the first one in January and have only taken my iPad out of the keyboard dock twice, i was hesitant to upgrade as did not think the mouse option was worth me spending the money and more again. Oh how wrong i was, i am loving the new keyboard and have only had this a few hours... I was also swayed by the mount being better and the rubber does not seem to move out of the fixings like the first unit. I am very impressed and will continue to be blown away by Brydge.

Having owned a number of Brydge keyboards, I am very disappointed in my latest Brydge Pro+. I have experienced great difficulty in inserting and removing my iPad. After very few exchanges, I have damaged the rubber insert on the left hinge (see photos). I have also been very disappointed in the battery life as it is NOWHERE in comparison to past Brydge keyboards. The touchpad is a little to sensitive and reacts for very light brushes when using the keyboard.

While I acknowledge this is a good quality accessory, there are some issues I believe bear mentioning. The first is the trackpad: While not a bad approximation of the trackpad that was on a MacBook Air, or a MacBook Pro, it misses the mark. The scrolling is not smooth, does not have the “momentum”, and the use of it to highlight, select, cut or copy text is not consistent. The keyboard shortcuts you could use with a MacBook are not present. Perhaps this can be rectified with a firmware update. I was hoping to rely more on the trackpad, but a lot of functions can still only be fulfilled by the touch screen, and/or the Apple Pencil, if you have one. The keyboard adds significant weight, it is not light, and it adds thickness, especially if you use the magnetic back. I chose not to use it. I understand the Macbook is a robust machine and would require a robust keyboard to support it, though. Unfortunately, though the iPad Pro comes in both Space Gray and Silver, it appears the keyboard is only available in Space gray, which is disappointing. Another disappointing issue is the shims in the hinges. They grip the iPad tightly, which is a good thing, but unless you are very careful with The technique you use to insert the iPad, you will run the risk of tearing the shims. This happened to both mine and my wife’s keyboard on the first day, before we learned the technique. You CAN send away for replacement shims, however, you’ll have to wait a week for them and limp along with a keyboard with damaged shims. Not good. Moreover, the keyboard, when paired with the iPad could close tighter. If it is vertically in the closed position (for instance in a luggage pocket), there is a small gap. There should be a magnetic closure between the top of the iPad screen and the bottom of the keyboard. Perhaps that could be an accessory they could introduce after. Perhaps you could accomplish this with a little magnetic tape on the bottom of the keyboard if it did not damage the iPad. However, this should have been an integral feature. In summary: I do recommend this, but with reservation in that the negative aspects are not insurmountable, but still of concern.

This case is great. I’ve been using this case for college with my iPad Pro 11 in. And it hasn’t gave me any problems. I did a review of this case on my YouTube channel please check it out. https://youtu.be/Ldy740NaBzA

My husband gave me the Bridge 12.9 Pro as a gift to complement my New iPad Pro 2020. I purchased the Ipad Pro as a college student. Although this is a great product, I don't feel it was a good fit for me. What bothers me is that it is heavier than my MacBook air, I have a protector on the screen which makes the fit very very snug, I struggle getting it into the slot and almost have to jam in, and the back cover is magnetic, doesn't offer much protection once I take the iPad pro off the keyboard. I wish I could return this but I am way past my return period. I feel this is expensive, heavy, and not practical for me. But you only had the Ipad Pro and were looking to make it a laptop replacement, then I guess it is the one with the best reviews out there according to my husban.

Nice Solid bit of kit, but still room for improvements, ie Bluetooth mouse not always Responsive to touch, no indication of power left in keyboard. Would be nice if, in conjunction with Apple, they could produce an off / on button. Fed up of using two hands to switch off iPad and getting Siri asking me what I want.
