“Overall I am really pleased with my BTOD Akir purchase. I had originally purchased a VariDesk Task chair which was super easy to assemble (only 3 components & no tools) but the seat was too hard and gave me lower back pain. The Akir took more effort to assemble but is much more comfortable. BTOD shipped it very promptly and assisted me with my choice. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.”
“Shipped with cracked plastic housing on adjustment knob. Shipped with Torn Mesh back fabric. Didn't send back due to shipping nightmare. Wont order from BTOD again.”
“Very soft and comfortable seat cushion. Only cons are very minor. Make sure you order the headrest if you are tall like I did. The seat cushion has a little play front to back do to the adjustable mechanism. The arms could be a little larger but they are fine. Overall a great chair would definitely recommend.”
“The quality and build of the chair is really good. The cushion is comfortable and doesn't bottom out. The materials are not super high end, but seem really durable and should last a long time. The casters I have are for hard floors and they roll easily across the floor. Only thing I think it is lacking more adjustable lumbar support. The lumbar support on the chair is ok. It moves up and down a good amount. I would prefer it to move in and out as well. With all of the other adjustments to the seat, just about anyone should be able to find their perfect comfort position. Perfect for home office use, and for someone who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a high end office chair.”
“Feels great, took me a while to figure out what the adjustments did but I figured it out. My back has never thanked me more. Wish I had the shorter version but hey that's my own fault. Definitely worth it IMO if you're going to use it daily.”
