“This frame is really sturdy !! Metal components are heavy and thick indeed.
Since I've started using it in standing position (41/42 inches) I have rarely went back to sitting position.
After researching and comparing data (specially the "small print") for different brands -even some not stated on BTOD's site-, I found myself coming back to BTOD's source again and again.
It's not cheap, but it's worth it. I'm very pleased with the investment.

“I bought this base to convert my existing 55" x 30" Black Walnut desk to a standing desk. I bought it because I watched the video on how the product is assembled and constructed should a really well designed and manufactured product. I also watched the assembly video and it was really helpful. I am 6' 1" tall and I spent a substantial amount of time on my first day of use at 45" height. It really stable. The front to back stability is amazing. I have been using one of those fit boards for working your core rotating side to side and I held onto the desk with both hands while doing this and it caused no visible motion or shaking of my monitors. This is great product so far and worth every penny. I got the 27.5" x 45.125" model with Programmable one touch control. I have two presets and it is great to tap the button for one set to go between sitting and standing. I have not tried out the bluetooth and voice control features, not sure I will as the touch button seems easiest.”

“This is a decent base. Feet are a bit. Shorter than other sit/stand desks we have, but they are stable. I purchased a desktop from another store, so didn't have predrilled holes to guide the placement. That part was tricky since it is not something you can just center on the board. I'm not a professional assembler type, and took a little bit to figure out how to use the drill, but I eventually got it. The video instructions were very helpful, but could've been better with more detail about wear to mount the controls.”

1) Provide clarity on placement/alignment of base for those using their own tabletop e.g. 10" from edge, etc. (video is for a tabletop that is pre-drilled).
2) Because of the mirror image effect, clarify which is the front and rear of the table.
Both are ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT for those using their own tabletop and having to drill.”
