“It looks very professional and it is very sturdy. I think the cost was reasonable for a standing desk, and I'm happy with the quality. The color is exactly what I would expect from what was shown on the website. A big factor in my decision to purchase this desk was the reviews that Greg had on YouTube of various standing desks. I am a scientist, and so the most convincing aspects of the review were the disassemblies of this desk's and competing desks' components. From the pictures and videos it was clear to me that more care was put in to designing this one. In addition, I appreciated the deflection meter Greg started using to try to quantify the stability of the desk at various heights in comparison to competing brands. I think all of this is very important since it helps reduce potential bias in reviews created by a company reviewing its own product in comparison to others. I am very interested in buying high-quality products for large purchases because I want them to last, so I take a lot of time to research before buying. The informative reviews on BTOD definitely were the most important reason for my purchase of the VertDesk.”
