“I considered several options for desks in this price range. Part of the reason I picked V3 was that it had a great deal of options for width/depth customization and I was trying to maximize an odd space in my room. I chose Cherry top w/ black legs "” it's a nice looking combination. Assembly was straight forward, though if I had gotten one of the larger sizes I probably would have needed an extra person to help. The motorized lift works smoothly and at a good speed for manual adjustment, though I also have the 4-position memory, which I recommend. At it's lower settings, it is rock stable. Up at 45" there's a little bit of back and forth movement but barely noticeable when typing or handwriting/drawing. I like to keep desks simple "” just want a big flat surface to spread out on, and this pretty much fits the bill.
Packaging of the desktop packaging was good. The shipping company managed to put a couple of good size gouges in the boxes, but there was enough spacing to protect the desktop inside. I'm not a fan in general of engineered wood surfaces, but this is a decent one and it keeps the price reasonable compared to real wood. The drive mechanism and base are good quality and I could see buying just the base in the future and building my own desktop if I wanted to make something unique.
All in all, this was exactly as billed in the videos and this is a well made desk "” I wouldn't hesitate to order another one down the road. I had to wait a few weeks for black legs to come in stock, but I ordered it back in may when I'm sure there was a rush on home office equipment due to the pandemic. BTOD was good about keeping me informed about the shipping schedule and also gave me the option of getting another color legs if I wanted it sooner.”
“Could not be happier with my desk. I have chronic back issues and with this prolonged spell of working from home I was desperately in need of an ergonomic set up. Given the limited space I have for a desk, the ability to specify the width and depth in inch increments was awesome. The desk, in two parts, was very well packaged for transit, and assembly was straight forward. The build quality is very good. The up and down is smooth, and being able to operate from my smartphone is another plus. Great job BTOD!”

Along with the cable tray, which did not come with pilot holes for easy installation. If you could provide instructions for the shelf, I would appreciate it.”
