“The desk came during the pandemic in record time although all boxes not delivered on the same day. Assembly was facilitated by the video but I would suggest starting it with an orientation about what is front and back of desk. I almost put the legs on backwards. Once that was figured out, easy assembly. I purchased the file box attached underneath the tabletop which I love. One caveat is that it seems a bit crowded for the 48" width. If you like to sit in the middle of your desk you might consider a wider length.”
“This desk provides me with everything I was hoping for in a stand up unit. Adding the casters makes it easy to move and the electric adjustments are convenient located and easy to use.”
“Hardware: The desk itself is nice and solid. There is no notable wobble at any height. Excellent construction. The desk was shipped via FedEx Ground and I was happy that the packing materials were almost entirely cardboard (very limited non-recyclable waste). The desk was easy to assemble and instructions were very well done.
Software: At the time of purchase (April 2020), the VertDesk v3 mobile app is iOS only. Because I am an Android user, I had to go find my old iPhone 6, update the software version to 13.4.1, and download the mobile app. Setup was pretty straight forward. The app works.
Recommendation: First and foremost, there should be an Android app. There are no excuses. Also, it should be clear on the website and at purchase that the app is iOS only and it requires a specific iOS version to download and install. All of this wasn't a deal breaker but was disappointing.
Overall, I'd give this desk 4 out of 5 stars. If there was an Android app, it would have been 5 stars.”
