“I purchased the VertDesk v3 Electric Sit Stand Desk in November 2018. The desktop is great, I love the color and quality of the desktop. However, I've already had to get the legs replaced (they stopped going up and down) and now the motor (it stopped working). Thankfully, customer service has been wonderful and responsive to these issues, special shout out to Amanda! They have replaced the faulty components without any issues. It does make me concerned about the longevity of this desk though since both of the main moving parts have failed in just 22 months...and I'm worried that at some point BTOD will just say "sorry, we cannot help you anymore, please purchase another $700 desk instead..." Hopefully that doesn't happen!”

If you are shopping around and are thinking about buying this desk, look no further. I ordered the VertDesk v3 sit/stand desk and couldn't be happier. It's rock solid, looks great, and setup was a breeze. I used their Youtube instructions to assemble the product. (My only suggestion to BTOD would be to provide some close-ups during the video in an effort to provide even more clarity to the viewers).
I live in Southern California and shipping took almost 2 weeks. Not bad for a custom desk shipped straight to your door. One of the boxes was damaged on the outside however, the desk is so well packed with cardboard and insulation that there was no damage to the desk itself.
I am completely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this desk. 10/10

“I spent the last month looking at various standup desk reviews and designs. My most important feature was stability, followed by functionality, asthetics and cost. I read everything I could find on several of the top rated desks, and talked the sales offices' on several. In the end, I selected the VertDesk over two close competitors, both of which were much more expensive as well as another competitor which was far less. I ordered, received, set up, and have begun using the desk without any challenges. The sales / service team was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Tip:
The only issue I ran into building the desk was installing the U Channel that goes over the Hex Rod, the 2 drills I had would hit the U Channel since the screws and holes are too close to the channel walls, so I had to manually screw them in (Ratcheting Screwdriver helped a lot). Maybe a very thin drill head would work.
The other issue I had was my own confusion: The diagram in the instructions for installing the Control Unit show screws E for the Wire Management Tray - however the lines connecting the letter E screw also connect to the Control Unit (S) which caused me to think I used the E screw to screw in the Control Unit - which I did and it works fine - however you're supposed to use Screw H there.
There are no pilot holes for the small cable clips for the Switch/Programmable Switch , which is expected as instructions state you can install the switch anywhere, but instructions on which drill bit to use for a pilot hole would be nice, I ended up screwing in one without a pilot hole and it worked OK, but wouldn't recommend.
The Desk is Very sturdy even at 46.5" (nearly 47).
The Programmable Switch is convenient, there is a review below from Derek F. which I hope he reads this part - you can enable one touch in the menu of the switch which allows you to hit one of the #1-4 and it will go to the saved height location - if you do not enable this you have to hold down the #1-4 button until it reaches the destination and it just stops.

“I decided to splurge on this desk for my new job. I think I looked at every desk on the market over several months,and read all the reviews. It took me some time, but I kept coming back to this one. I did purchase the 30x72" desk with some necessary accessories, so it wasn't inexpensive. It wasn't too difficult to put together. I did watch the video prior to attempting it. It is pretty heavy (I'm a smaller woman) so I did get some help. I have a lot going on and the size is great. I also got the premium dual monitor setup which I love. Movement of the desk is smooth and quiet. It also seems stable although I don't need to go too high. I definitely recommend this desk!”
