“After doing some research and comparing several different models, I ended up choosing the VertDesk v3 as my new desk. While not the most elegant website compared to its competitors, nor the most abundant of outside reviews, I made the decision to purchase it and am very happy with my desk.
The desk was fairly simple to construct by myself, although I did need some help to flip it upright and move it into position. I went with the 60" Driftwood top with black metal base and it looks great with my setup. I opted for the programmable switch and the wire tray, and would recommend both. The tray makes for quick and efficient wire management and the switch makes it easy to go from sitting in a chair, to an exercise ball, to standing without having to remember the exact heights I want.
The motor is incredibly smooth and relatively quiet; you can tell they spent a lot of effort to find a high quality motor for the desk. With the cross bar it also has impressive stability without getting in your way.
My only problem was that my order status was not updated, and I had to contact customer service to figure out when my order would ship. They promptly responded and kindly let me know it already had and provided the tracking information however.”
“Perfect desk for my space. Smooth transitions from sit to stand. Took me about an hour and half to put it together by myself. It's a bit heavy so having a second pair of hands (or a guy that will happily do it for you) while setting up can help a lot, but do able by yourself. You do need to use a #2 square head bit so make sure that is on hand. Had to go digging for it which is why it took me so long. You'll be very happy with this product.”
“LOVE this desk! Pretty simple to put together as most of the screw holes are predrilled. Very stable with little to no wobble, even at the highest setting of 46.9 inches. Iï¸ highly recommend adding grommets and a wire management tray to help disguise cords and keep your workstation neat.”
“The VertDesk v3 is a dream to use and gets you to the different heights that you need to do your best work. I use 3 different stops - the lowest level which I find is exactly what I need for sitting/typing, one at mid-range height for standing/typing and one at a little less than maximum height for standing/reading at eye level. My husband took his time (2-3 hours) with no major glitches getting the desk assembled and it only took about 5-10 minutes to program the stops. It is very sturdy! You need to be careful of what you have it against when positioning it in your office as you don't want to hurt other furniture or smash things on your walls (like diplomas). After assembly, programming and getting it situated, it's been a dream to use! Great product!”
“This desk has far exceeded my expectations. I have been using this for around 6 months now and have no complaints. The surface is resistant to stains and other abuses, and there is practically no wobble even at the max height. I have two monitor arms on it and they hardly move when using this while standing. Great, high-quality product.”
