“Awesome desk! Very sturdy when lifted to max height and quick speed when adjusting. Only comment I have is that the controller should adjust the desk to a saved position without having to press button continuously.”
“Slightly wobbly at max height, but not too bad; otherwise pretty much exactly what you'd want out of a sit/stand desk.
For the U-channel running across between the legs (covering the hex drive rod), the pilot hole spacing was incorrect, so I had to drill additional holes. Setup was otherwise easy, but needing a drill was a bit of a surprise.”
“Stable and working as expected.
The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars was the assembly of the hex rod was not easy. The company does indicate this in their review and marketing materials, so some difficulty was expected. Once the hex rod is correctly inserted on both sides, the remainder of the assembly went well.
Motor is quite and the raising and lowering of the desk is quite speedy.
I have four monitors and heavy a heavy monitor stand along with the CPU on the desk. So far, the motor is handling the weight without issue.
I would recommend this desk.”
“Assembly was a little tricky, but with the video there was no problem. Definitely a two person job if available. Also the hexrod-cover for me, had flattened out while being shipped and didn't align with the pre-drill holes which I only realized until after having to pre-drill new holes.”
“I have an Autonomous sit-stand desk at my work office, but decided to try out the VertDesk v3 for my home office. For the price differential, I would have expected a couple more of the features that I have on the Autonomous model to be standard, e.g. wire guide holes through the table top and 4 position memory adjustment. There were minor quality issues with the components I received. The hole patterns for the U-channel that covers the drive axle didn't match up well with the pre-bored locations on the table top... nothing a little man-handling couldn't resolve but it shouldn't be necessary. Hole patterns in the top also didn't line up with the holes in the casing for the basic up/down switch circuit board, but this really wasn't a problem since the wood screws are self-tapping and not large in diameter. The caps which cover the bottom portion of the legs to hide the plastic guides need better clips. Their rectangular shape of the plastic cap is warped and so not all of the securing features are long enough to latch into the slots machined into the legs. In spite of these minor issues, I'm still happy that I went with an American product; the Vert v3 is indeed much more sturdy than the Autonomous product as demonstrated in your testing videos.”
