“Product exactly as described and I am very happy with the desk. It was easy and straightforward to put together. The only issue is that the directions to install the additional power plugs were not included, and the instructions for managing cords were not helpful. I still cannot figure out how to use the snake like device.”
“Overall I'm happy with this desk.
Setup:
The installation instructions are good enough, but they are not great. The hardware I received did not match up with the instructions, I had extra screws and other parts that weren't mentioned anywhere, and I was missing the screws for the controls. The wire management/j channels are in two different seconds of the parts list (or maybe I just didn't get the wire management and the j channel really is different?). The pre drilled holes for the controls also weren't done as far as I could tell. But even with that, I was able to get the desk together without much problem in a few hours. For the controls, I drilled my own hole and used a couple screws I had on hand from another project.
Pros:
- The desk is quieter than I thought it was going to be. It is quieter than the desk I have at work (no idea on brand), but also a bit slower.
- It is very stable. I'm 6'1", at 46" height it really doesn't move much.
- 30" desk is a good size, I'd go bigger if I had the office space, but this is enough space.
- I like the Macchiato color, the desktop is well finished.
Cons:
- Confusing parts list, setup instructions could be more clear.
- The programable controls feel really cheap. I think what I don't like about it is that the buttons aren't actually buttons. The entire face of the display moves when you push on an area.
- The desk is supposed to be adjustable to the half inch, however the display only displays whole inches.
- The press+hold to move is safer than the press once, however my three year old still managed to almost tip the desk over by bringing the desk down on the arm of the chair. Thankfully nobody/nothing hurt and now he (hopefully!) understands not to touch the controls.”
“Couldn't be happier with this this desk. It's rock solid and performs true to all the claims and reviews. I am 6'2" and find the maximum hight of 47" to be more than sufficient, 44" happens to be my personal optimal working hight.
The motor and mechanics are working smoothly and quietly. All seems like quality built to last. I would recommend this desk based on my initial experience.”

“Purchased the VertDesk V3. Arrived with a defect on the left leg. BTOD replaced the component immediately free of charge. BTOD customer service was extremely responsive and helpful. Assembly of the desk was straight-forward, the video was helpful. Instructions could be better on assembly of the programmable button. All in all, the desk is very sturdy and function. I am very happy with my purchase”
