Lots of research went into my purchase and I'm very happy I chose this desk. Easy to install, and have been using it for two weeks with no problems.

This desk was purchased for my home office. The product is built well, is very solid and sturdy at the 45" height I use the most. Assembly was pretty straightforward and only the U-channel had misaligned pre-drilled holes but even that was not a big deal for me. Great desk, love the color choices.

The desk works very well. It's very sturdy and can support more weight than a lot of the other ones I've seen. Time will tell as to how long they last.

Desk was completed and delivered in a timely manner. I appreciate the rounded corners, although that is not shown as an option on order page. Very pleased the parts are from Taiwan/Germany/USA, and -not- China. Taiwan is on par with Japan with respect to metal hardening, tooling, etc. We always try to favor products/materials from non-communist countries. Issues: Packing of the desktop could use some additional protection, especially around the edges. The thick corrugated strips might help somewhat, but they also abrade the edge/finish during transit... our desktop had scuffing and damage (fortunately on underside). The problem with FedEx is they won't wait while you inspect the delivery, and tell you to schedule returns through the seller. Moreover, if a replacement is sent, you risk similar (or worse) damage on the next attempt by FedeX. Likewise, the box for the base/legs was damaged, but this could be due to the fact there are no 'grab handle' cutouts or straps to lift the box... at 75 to 80+ lbs, the box is too heavy to get a grip on just the exterior surface of the box, so it's not surprising the carrier 'makes' their own grab holes or it gets dropped... The base is stout and operates smoothly, except there are two design flaws: 1) No cross-member between the arms that raise/lower, there is a cover for the rod, but it does not join both arms, so the desktop is going to be prone to sagging over time (most other desks in this price range have a full length cross-member which supports the desk surface. 2) The lower cross-member is a bit too low for a standard eATX workstation to fit underneath (e.g. Dell Precision, HP Z series)... it needs to be ~ 1" higher.

My desk top arrived damaged so I emailed customer service. Jackie responded immediately and after assessing the damage had a replacement on my doorstep within a week! Jackie made he whole process so easy and she was lovely to deal with. Once I got my desk, it was a breeze to put together!

When the two legs are attached to the desk double check that they are level.

Very happy with the new desk. I use it between 27" (I am 5'9") and 42" for standing on balance beam with no stability issues. I am a heavy typer and also gamer, and desk is sturdy and stable. I also reached out to btod with some question before buying and after buying and received very quick responses.
