“I had been researching this for 6 months and was having a ton of trouble deciding. It's tough when you can't see these in person.
I have high expectations and these were met. The desk is built like a tank. Very smooth and quiet motors. I went with the cross bar, glad I did. I have plenty of legroom when I sit (I was worried about that). It's extremely stable sitting and standing.
I went with 72' x 30". I almost went with 60" x 24" or 30. Glad I went with the 72. I have dual 24" monitors on my workstation and my work laptop. just enough room with 72. I think if you go with a 24" + the cross bar you will still have room to sit (I'm 5'9"). I didn't get the keyboard tray. Personal preference there, my keyboard and mouse have always ended up on my desks even when I had great keyboard trays. I could always add it later if needed.
I upgraded to the memory lift, I think that's completely necessary. It works great!
The motors are smooth as silk and quiet. It senses an obstruction and stops. The table top is heavy duty. I went with black on black, very happy with it. It's particle board with a laminate top. It's 1.25" thick, very stable. I will be going to a local glass shop to have them make a custom glass top to protect the finish.
I went with AB&C pre drilled wiring holes through the back of the desk, that worked well.
I also got the pencil drawer which is nice but I might have to move it and I may not end up using, just personal preference.
I get tons of compliments on it, everyone who sees it loves it. I replaced a "computer desk" that was very formal and about 15 years old. All that chinese furniture crap, fake wood, the "finish" which was just painted on became sticky and wore off. Nasty. I wanted something much cleaner, durable, somewhat commercial grade, just all business and this fits perfectly.
I'm an avid runner, never thought I'd enjoy a standing desk but oddly enough there are times when I prefer it. Even my teenage daughter loves it.
The shipping was super fast from WI to eastern PA (after about two weeks post order), but then FedEx did some really weird stuff. It was a total of three separate deliveries. Long story, FedEx being FedEx. No damage to anything, even the tabletop.

“Everything was well organized and packed - no damage. Product seems great so far. My only quibble would be that I ordered a 24" deep desk top and the pre-drilled holes of the motor control box were not in the same place as shown in the directions. As well there is no room for the additional cable management box. I believe the directions must have been for the 30" deep desk - hence the lack of space for placing those items??? No big deal, but if you were not handy or adventurous enough to figure those things out on your own it could be a tough situation.”

I really appreciated BTOD's recommendation to install the power supply box behind the wire management bar instead of in front of it, thus freeing up more space for keyboard drawer installation.”
