“My back was a mess after decades of sitting at my desk working on my computer. I research stand up desks for a couple of weeks and decided on the New Heights Elegante XT electric desk. I am amazed at the quality throughout the desk as well as the accessories. Heavy. Solid. Well thought out. I have the 72" model and find that it is rock solid even when extended all the way up. The basic design, including the cross bar, give a great result. All the other desks I studied were made in China and had awful reviews - once I got away from the seller's website. My desk cost a little more than the others, but I am delighted with the value. Greg at BTOD was very helpful in helping me pick the right accessories, as well as answering my questions.

“Desk feels rock solid and high quality, moves very well, pretty easy to assemble. Cable tray working overtime to keep my cabling clean, doing a great job.
Found attaching the included power bar was sketchy (Included screws sucked, no pre-drilled holes, no instructions about where or how, etc.)
Arrived with a small burr in the cross-bar, maybe shipping damage? Not worth the time/trouble to replace. I want to use my desk!
Instructions are maybe overly brief. They worked okay but I would have been more confident if they had provided more information/spread the steps out a little more.
Overall, 4/5, Not perfect but any flaws are very minor.”
“I just bought the NewHeights Elegante XT Sit/Stand desk and I love it. My business has me at the computer for hours and my back was screaming. This was the perfect solution! I love that I can raise/lower it with the touch of a switch. I love how solidly it's built. And I love that it's made in America! I highly recommend it.”
“Really great desk, very solid and well built. The only complaint would be that the holes that were pre-drilled for the height adjustment panel were not lined up correctly. Not a big deal, otherwise great product!”
“My Elegante desk arrived in good condition. Packaging could have been a bit better to preclude rough handling by the shipper. But all parts were there and did not appear damaged. I took my time putting the desk together. I did need to purchase a 3/8 hex wrench to complete the required screws, not sure why one was not included. Most holes for screws were pre-spotted (but not all); which was okay since I also made decisions where to locate some of the parts (like the motor controller, and the programmable switch). Once together, I was very please with the initial test. Everything worked as expected. The desk is reasonably quiet AND at my standing height, the desk is solid and stable--no noticeable keyboard shake. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.”
