Ii wasn't my first choice. I had a budget of $500 so went with the all Black vinyl Steelcase Amia. At first glance it looks unassuming; but looks are deceiving... Overall it is a comfortable chair. It has a decent seat (have not touched frame or plastic through the pad), nice 4D arm pads, adequate adjustable lumbar (not too pronounced) and intuitive seat adjustments (up/down, seat forward/back, back lock or tilt and tilt resistance adjustment. After a few weeks in the chair I appreciate the investment (paid just over $500 for a refurbished chair. $890+ if new), like the color and most importantly can sit it in for hours without hurting. I have to remind myself now to get up and take a break. The vinyl can get a bit warm after long seating session. I personally like the vinyl better than cloth so I am ok with it getting a little warm sometimes. There is not a head rest on this chair which may have been a plus if done right. Overall thumbs up!

The chair arrived nicely packaged and in good shape. It's basically like new and I saved a ton of money over purchasing a brand new one at $1000+, very happy with my purchase. The Amia is comfortable and has helped ease some back pain, I work from home and previously had a cheap gaming chair and it was causing me issues. I can sit in this 8+ hours comfortably. The only thing I wish it had is a head rest.

Fabric color are basically perfect! Great value, no complaints about the lumbar, height, casters, or tilt, essentially a perfect investment and no pain has come from it! Have had it for a month now and it's wonderful! There's one small gash in the back when it was sent to me but it's not noticeable since the chair is black and it's only a 4 inch line, doesn't hinder performance at all. Extremely hard to beat for the price!

You'd never know that this is a refurbished chair! It was meticulously packaged, and very easy to assemble. I had been having back problems with my old chair and decided it was time for an upgrade. After watching the videos on btod's website, it was clear to me that they take great pains in refurbishing the chair to look, feel and operate just like new. The warranty they offer is a testament to the faith they have in their products! I love the adjustable lumbar support on this chair and I haven't had any back issues since I started using the Amia. Highly recommend!

Assembly was easy. Chair looks good. The seat is not as comfy as I was hoping, but still works.
