“I bought the Amia after considering way too many reviews online, I've no previous experience with Steelcase chairs despite their reputation. I would say that the Amia is well centered and constructed (especially for being such a light chair). I don't see any issue with the refurbishment though I am curious how the cloth will hold up to daily work use. Does the Amia support a good posture by suggesting body placement? Yes! It makes an excellent impression on being seated. However, I'm not sure it is really comfortable for a solid 8hr workday. The 'Ideal' chair would find that balance between comfort, cost and useability and I'm not sure the Amia meets that goal though it does parts of that equation very well. Am I satisfied? Mostly!”
“The chair and everything is nice but the seat cushion is just so uncomfortable. I tried to wait it out hoping my body would adjust to the chair, but it hasn't. It's get uncomfortable sitting within minutes. Really disappointed.”

“I came across their YouTube channel when looking for a chair for my husband for working from home. Decided to get one for myself too. Neither of us had anything besides cheap chairs and weren't willing to spend $1000 or more on a chair. The chairs are much better than we hoped for, refurbished but look and feel new. We not ordered the same chair in a different color for our son.
The best part for me specifically is I've been suffering from chronic spine and nerve pain for the past 4 years. I've been barely able to sit for longer than 20 minutes without a lot of pain. I can sit in my new chair without back pain! Paired with my new desk which lowers beyond the standard desk (to better accommodate my height) and I've finally got a properly ergonomic computer spot.”
“My chair arrived with one of the arms snapped off in transit but BTOD's customer service quickly took care of it and shipped me a new one which arrived in a few days. It was fairly simple and straightforward, although the screw that's closest to the seat was kind of a pain to get to, even with the seat pulled all the way forward.
As far as the chair goes, it's been great so far. Aside from the arm, it looked like a brand new chair. This is probably the highest quality office chair I've purchased so I can't really compare the comfort to a lot of others, but it's certainly not uncomfortable. I can sit and work for hours without it bothering me, so that's definitely a plus. Time will tell how the materials will hold up, but it feels high quality and seems like it will take abuse for a very long time.
