“After scouring BTOD's youtube, I took the jump & decided to try refurbished. First one arrived damaged (arm broken off), but awesome customer support helped send a replacement within a week.
Chair is what I hoped for: as close as I could get to something high-end that's more affordable. Great fabric, nice solid cushioning, robust features. Love the lumbar system, supportive without being intense.
A minor complaint: one arm is a bit less stable; it can be slightly wiggled near the base. There's also a clicking sound when wiggling the arm itself, like its unsticking from the inside surface of the base. Other minor scuffs. Yet I feel a little cleaning could fix most of this. Not bad for something refurbished.
Overall, great chair & worthwhile upgrade. Confident I can use this for years to come. And a great return policy & warranty if necessary. Would buy from BTOD again.”
“The Amia chair I received is everything I expected and more. It's solid and comfortable. I look forward to using it for many years.
The box it in which it arrived showed evidence of a rough passage. It had a large patched hole where one of its legs broke though during transport. It also had a small, intact plate loose in the plastic bag. The plate fit behind the seat and was easily reinstalled.
The chair and price are unbeatable. The buying experience from BTOD was excellent. That the chair came through its shipping experience unscathed is a testament to its build quality.”
“When I got it, the arms were very loose and felt cheap. Also other things on the chair were loose that are not supposed to be loose. And it made my back hurt and my back never hurts.”
