“Very happy with this chair so far! Super comfortable and has a very solid build quality to it. The only way to tell that this is a refurbished chair are some faint wear marks on the back where it was rubbing against a credenza or something. There were some delays in the shipping ... but that was more on Fed-Ex than anything. Chair was packed well ... yet easy to unbox and set up. Spent a few minutes to get the chair adjusted ... and boom!”
“First I want to say that one would never know that this was not a brand new chair. It was in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. It is attractive and had many options. It was just not for me. I need more lumbar support than the chair offers and the seat pad was too firm. Someone who doesn't require a great deal of back support may love the chair. “I've had the opportunity to use many great chairs and so far the Amia ranks as one of the best. I often find myself sitting for prolonged periods of time (4-8 hours) and this chair is comfortable and relieves back pain, my only qualm is that the arm rests wobble profusely if you extend them all the way.”
“I had one of these already that I bought used on Ebay. It ended up being a great chair, but I think getting these refurbished is a more sure bet. The upholstery work seemed spot on, and the extra half inch or so of foam was appreciated, as well. Only minor disappointment is that one of the arms was a little loose, and it's easier to tighten when the seat is off. I should learn how to work on these though, and get it tightened up. Just a minor wobble though, regardless. Very happy with BTOD. This chair in particular works great for me. May not work for everyone as no chair probably does, but it really appears to be one of the best values in office chairs. BTOD had issues emailing me my invoice and called me to let me know they had an issue there. They were super friendly on the phone. You *can* sometimes get better deals elsewhere, but it's a gamble, and if consistency is important for you I think BTOD is a great option. Their reviews are very honest and helpful.”
