“Lovely chair! Been using it for over 2 months and it is a game-changer for those working from home or sitting for extended periods of time. I'm not tall and it works super well for my back which was my chief complaint with cheaper options off other websites. It arrived well packed, and was very clean and generally nice when we unboxed it.
In terms of service, BTOD was amazing - I had a customer service rep reach out to help with any set up or product issues when it was shipped. I needed none of her help - the chair was SO easy to assemble!

“This review should really be in two parts.
1 - Steelcase Leap v2 chair itself
The Stevaae Leap v2 is a great chair from both simple esthetics and functionality . If you look at all on some of the video reviews , ergonomically I can't have asked for more . It's adjustable in every which way you can imagine . (I did not get a head rest for mine ) . I did however opt for the rollerblade wheels and added extra seat cushioning . Both made the chair better in my opinion . The chair rolls on its own lol (my flooring is hardwood) .
Having a wonky back myself I had been looking around for a while, comparing functionality , build quality and price .
The adjustable lumbar support works for me and is helpful . I use the chair in a home office as my daily full time work chair together with a sit / stand desk .
The only thing Iv noticed and I have seen it mentioned in reviews is that the reclining mechanism is not 100% smooth when operating. It works perfectly fine just not a completely smooth glide . But has not caused any issues so far. Overall I'm very happy with the chair .
2 - BTODs refurbishing & service
I was worried before I received it about the conditioned chair would be in.
My worries were completely un founded . The chair looks and operates like a brand new chair!! The cleaning / refurb process works.
I had a question and contacted service , they were prompt and excellent and getting back to me with the reply to my questions in a clear and professional manner .
The chair comes with decent instructions on assembly and arrives in two parts . Goes together very easily following the instructions.
They point out the two different types you could get and how they go together slightly differently . Do pay attention .... !!! I did , and ended up getting it backwards somehow .But took it apart and back the right way no big issues.
If anything I'd also include instructions on how to take it apart lol although I was able to find several videos on youtube on the topic. And luckily I had the tools to do so . But not everyone will and definitely better to get it right the first time.
Overall I have been using the chair for over a month at this time and it works well and is very comfortable for me. I would not hesitate to buy again .

“I was very skeptical spending this much money on a chair let alone a used chair. However, after lots of research and back pain, I pulled the trigger purchased two of the Leap v2. They are by far a huge quality of life improvement. Very confortable and best part my back pain from the previous cheap $200 chair was gone. For context i sit in the chair for roughly 8-10 hours a day. Its been about a month so far and no regrets. Worth every penny.”
