“This divan base feels rock solid. It has non-slip fabric on the platform top, so the mattress stays firmly in place. I feel confident that it’s well made, which genuinely helps me sleep better. I was impressed that I could order it in a bespoke height for a £75 extra charge, as I wanted the base to be higher. The drawers glide smoothly and feel secure, and looking inside I can see there are strong wooden slats supporting the platform top. The top is slightly padded, which makes my mattress feel comfortable without being too soft. The wide fabric choice is what initially drew me to Button & Sprung. I love the premium slubby linen - it feels soft to the touch, and the colour is calming and grounding. The only small thing that could be improved is having a couple of centimetres of tolerance in the width and length. The base is exactly 90 × 190 cm, which means the mattress needs to be perfectly positioned or it can overlap slightly at the edges. Overall, I’m very satisfied.”
