This mattress is only available in one tension and has a firm feel.

Please describe how supportive the mattress feels. Firm, but not overly so. Should suit most sleepers I'd imagine except those looking for something soft.

“This is for our guest room, so we went for the slightly more value option than our Button and Sprung mattress in our master bedroom (that is soooo comfortable), but we remember this being a close contender in our (price) blind tests, so thought a great option for intermittent use. We had a little lie down to try it out and thinks it's a great option with quality, natrual materials.”

“The usual high quality from button and sprung , but this one is firm and suitable for sleepers who only like very firm and sleep on their back. I switched to a Galway in the end which is perfect. Thank you button and sprung for being so helpful.”

Hi Marie, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It can take 4 - 6 weeks for a new mattress to properly break in. They do feel a little bit firm when brand new, and as you sleep on it, it will break in across the surface, a bit like breaking in a new pair of leather shoes. It's important to rotate a new mattress every second week for the first twelve weeks after delivery. This ensures you are breaking it in evenly across the surface.
