Please describe how supportive the mattress feels. Supportive but probably too firm for me

“This is a lovely supportive mattress, but after 3 weeks, I’m still getting pain in my hips and shoulder which was my reason for buying a new mattress. I want to give it a good trial so am keeping going but I think this is going to be too firm for me as the pain is getting worse rather than improving and is now disturbing my sleep. I’m not sure if a topper would solve the issue or if I’ll need to return the mattress.”

Please describe how supportive the mattress feels. The mattress offers great support and feels like the ones you have in luxury hotels! Comfortable and soft enough to feel relaxed.
