“I would have loved to give a five star review because honestly it is the best mattress I’ve ever slept on (and I travel a lot with work to 5 star hotels). I have had problems with my back and the level of support is truly wonderful and I wake up feeling refreshed now, instead of slightly beaten up! I went for the king size “Swaledale” the “firmer” option and it’s perfect for me. I’d definitely advise going to try them all though before you pick for yourself. The experience in the showroom was also brilliant. Very knowledgable and non pushy staff. I was given a full tour of what was on offer and invited to try them as we went, then I was left to my own devices and encouraged to spend a decent amount of time lying on the mattresses I thought were the best. They were very friendly, helpful and easy going. I also love that they are made fully of natural, bio degradable materials. The delivery guys were also very friendly and considerate of my flat when they moved around it. The only reason I took a star off is because the mattress I was initially sent came in at least 5cm short in both directions. And the first night I slept on it I noticed quite a strong farmy smell as it warmed from my body heat. They were very accommodating when I emailed with my concerns and have since sent out a replacement. It is slightly bigger but still falls slightly short. I did see that they say this is because as the mattress relaxes with use it will reach it’s intended size if the difference is within 2cm. They said to me that they had had a batch of mattresses that had been reported as having a strong smell but it has now been sorted. Honestly though, I got a mattress protector and it almost completely eliminated and smell from the original mattress anyway. The new one doesn’t have this smell to it. Thank you Button and Sprung, you have brought me joy every night and every morning. I have already recommended you to several people.”

“We had a great time in store trying out all the mattress and deciding on the smaller details of the bed itself. Every one is store was super helpful. Bed delivery was quick and efficient and we are thrilled with the quality of the mattress and the comfort of the bed as a whole. Well worth the money.”

“We picked the Swaledale (king size) mattress based on my husband and my preference and we could definitely see the difference in our quality of sleep and my previously mild backache compared to previous mattresses. The only one downside is how bulky the mattress is, it is much deeper than a regular mattress (we are using super-king bedsheets for the king size mattress) and it is very heavy to move. But well worth that trade-off, I would highly recommend this mattress!”

Hi Swetha, Many thanks for leaving us a review. The Swaledale mattress is one of our thickest, and most luxurious mattresses, this is due to the amount of springs and fillings inside. We would recommend using deep-fitted sheets in the standard size for the mattress (ie. King). No need to go bigger. I'll send you an email now with the fitted sheets we would recommend!
