“We picked the Swaledale (king size) mattress based on my husband and my preference and we could definitely see the difference in our quality of sleep and my previously mild backache compared to previous mattresses. The only one downside is how bulky the mattress is, it is much deeper than a regular mattress (we are using super-king bedsheets for the king size mattress) and it is very heavy to move. But well worth that trade-off, I would highly recommend this mattress!”

Hi Swetha, Many thanks for leaving us a review. The Swaledale mattress is one of our thickest, and most luxurious mattresses, this is due to the amount of springs and fillings inside. We would recommend using deep-fitted sheets in the standard size for the mattress (ie. King). No need to go bigger. I'll send you an email now with the fitted sheets we would recommend! “So comfy! I feel like the princess and the pea, my bed is stacked so high now! It's an extra deep mattress so feels much more luxurious than our old one which was at least only half as deep. I wasn't sure what I'd make of the pocketed top, but it's lovely and comfortable. If it wasn't for our baby I'd be confident in saying I was getting a good night's sleep.”

“Most of us head to the nearest bed retailers and physically test various mattresses and with a little trial and error, are able to decide what best suits them in terms of comfort, durability and quality. In our case, we were swayed also by how it was made, lead time and the level of support for a bad back. As usual, it was always the most expensive in the range that met all the criteria. So against my better judgement, I was coerced by my other half to look at Button & Spring online as their mattresses looked as good as, if not better than the other high end retailers. We ended up buying the Swaledale King Mattress and bed frame and I have to say, the finished product in the flesh has exceeded expectations and actually cost less than the one I was using as a benchmark. It is supremely comfortable and after a month, I can say it has provided much better sleep quality than I have had for a long time. Their Customer Service is fantastic and we were left with the opinion that everyone we spoke to there felt proud of what they represent and wanted to go the extra mile to make sure we ended up with what was best for us rather than a tick in the 'another sale' box.”
